It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved father, Steven Davenport on March 24, 2025. Born in Wenatchee, WA, Steven was a passionate and dedicated gemologist, whose successful mining business in Brazil allowed him to explore the world of precious gems and diamonds. His work was a true reflection of his love for discovery, and he found joy in uncovering beauty from the earth.
Steven’s love for exploration extended beyond his career. He was deeply inspired by the cultures and spirituality of India, Greece and many other countries all over the world, spending months in these countries and embracing the lessons they offered. His travels were not just adventures but a way to connect with his inner soul on a deeper level, sharing stories and experiences with everyone he met along the way.
Those who knew Steven will remember him for his kind, loving and free spirit. His love for his family was immeasurable, and he found great joy in spending time with his children and grandchildren. Steven is survived by his children, Christian, Betty, and Sharon, as well as his grandchildren, Audrey, Jadon, Rochelle, Brianna, Felicity, Diana, and Andy. He was a guiding light for all who were fortunate to know him, and his memory will live on in the hearts of his loved ones.
Steven’s legacy will endure in the countless lives he touched, the beauty he uncovered in the world, and the love he shared with his family. He will be deeply missed but he won’t be forgotten.
