Naomi Stiskin Piekarski, 93, of Belmar passed away peacefully at home on November 4th, 2016. She was born and raised in Jersey City before moving to Belmar in 1951, where she met her husband, Jacob, of 63 years.
Mrs. Piekarski worked at Fort Monmouth as a high level secretary in the Generals office. She was a very smart woman, an expert letter writer, and a world traveler. She played piano by ear and was very musical, and wrote plays for fundraisers she ran for many years. She was a lover of books, great conversation, and a huge supporter of Alphabets Preschool Center. Mrs. Piekarski loved going to Atlantic City with her husband where she was the queen of the nickel slots.
She is predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Jacob. She is survived by her three children; Lenny Piekarski and his wife Fran, of Ocean, Esther Lysaght and her husband Terry, of Neptune, and Bernie Piekarski and his wife Shiann, of Orlando, Fl, six grandchildren; Bridget, Adam, Amy, Jessica, Shaina, and Lauren, and four great-grandchildren.
A chapel service will be held at 11am on Monday November 7th at Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, Ocean. Interment will follow at Agudath Achim Cemetery, Neptune.
