Melanie Marshall

Melanie graduated from York College in 1974 with a degree in education. After teaching for several years, Melanie trained as a paralegal and worked several years at a law firm as a paralegal before pivoting to working in IT at Meridian Health. She retired at age 65. Melanie was an avid Disney lover, diamond painting aficionado, and puzzle enthusiast. Melanie loved to travel with her family to Disney and was the life of the party on those trips, scheduling special activities and cracking jokes. Melanie had a special place in her heart for the Haunted Mansion at Disney, and often joked we could find her there. Melanie was a loving member of the family, who was always willing to help out when needed.

Melanie is predeceased by her mother, Norma Feinstein Marshall, who died in August 2006, her father Phillip Leon Marshall, who passed in October 2010, and her sister Bernice Marshall, who passed in December 2016. She is survived by her brother, Stuart Marshall and his wife JoAnne Marshall and their children, BariLynn Heslin and her spouse, Shawn Heslin, and Craig Marshall and his spouse, Andrea Marshall. She is also survived by loving great-nieces and nephews, Alyssa, Kaylee, Jacob, Makenna, and Nadia, Halee, Ally, Jacob, and Matthew.

Services will be held at noon on November 6th, 2024 at Bloomfield and Cooper Jewish Chapels in Ocean Township, 2130 NJ-35, Ocean Township, NJ 07712. Interment will be held directly following at Beth Miriam Memorial Park.
