Daniel Feldman, age 87, of New York, New York passed away on Friday, March 7, 2025. Born in the Brownsville section of Brooklyn.NY. Worked in shoe manufacturing, insurance and more while attending night classes at Brooklyn College. Upon graduation, he started teaching for the Board of Education, whatever classes he was assigned. His success within the history department was noticed and rewarded. His happiest days were spent at Stuyvesant High where he dealt with the brightest and boldest. After many years as a High School Teacher, his favorite title, he retired from teaching at Dewey High School. Together with Anne Fontek he traveled to over 40 countries. His last trip in September was to Japan along with Anne's children. Dining out was a career. He taught cooking to after- school teachers and brought the joy of exploring NYC streets to visitors with Big Apple Greeters.In keeping with his love of food he volunteered for over 25 years with God's Love We Deliver to feed the sick of NY. Life was the fullest when dining with friends. Pure joy was on his face when he found a perfect treat for his taste buds.His smile, his light, his dimples, his pizza will be sorely missed RIP, Dan.
