Ursula Navarro

In 1956, she relocated to Manhattan, NY with her mother. Soon after, through mutual friends she met a young man. He was instantly captivated by her and the pair were wed a year later. In 1987, she would permanently relocate to Ocala, FL with her husband.

Ursula was a people person by nature. She worked in the kitchen at Saint Clare’s hospital (Schenectady, NY) serving food to patients, visitors and staff. In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking, spending time with family, dancing (especially salsa), listening to music and sampling various white wines.

Ursula was preceded in death by her parents Marcos Lamberty and Librada Irizarry; sister Aurora Lamberty; niece Evelyn Valenzuela.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 68 years Pedro Navarro, her sons, Pedro (Tracy) Navarro Jr, Benjamin Navarro, Eduardo (Beatriz) Navarro; siblings, Isabel Lamberty, Margarita Velez, Miriam Lorenzo; grandchildren, Angela Danetz, Nicole Navarro, Jenna Navarro, Jordan Navarro; great grandchildren, Lily and London Danetz and extended family and friends.

A visitation for Ursula will be held Saturday, November 23, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 5740 South Pine Avenue, Ocala, Florida 34480. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM. Ursula will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, 5740 South Pine Avenue, Ocala, Florida 34480.
