Born on August 11, 2003 Ty Lamont Barber of Ocala, Florida is survived by his parents Taiwan and Amy Barber; two brothers, Taiwan JR (Candice) and Tajh Barber (Megan) of Ocala, Florida; his fur-brother, Sir Remy Barber and fur-sisters, Princess Maya Angelou and Queen Meeka Barber; grandparents, Carol and the late Edward Joyce of Buffalo, NY; Timothy White (Pat) of Washington, DC and the late Judith Barber of Buffalo, NY; great grandma, Lila White of Buffalo, NY, and many aunts, uncles, nieces and cousins.
In the hearts of those who knew Ty, he was cherished as a compassionate young soul, always ready to give the shirt off his back to those in distress. Ty’s compassion for others held no limits or length to what he would do to help. They would also know that he was the life of any party with his Herbert the Pervert voice from Family Guy. I mentioned Family Guy because Ty was indeed a family guy. Ty’s bond with his mother transcended the ordinary. It was a connection woven with threads of unwavering loyalty, profound understanding, and boundless love. From the earliest days of his life, she was his guiding light, nurturing his dreams and smoothing his fears with a touch that spoke volumes of comfort. Their relationship was not just maternal, but also a partnership built on mutual respect, love, and admiration. Ty found solace in her deepest aspirations and darkest secrets with hesitation. Through life’s trails and triumphs, they stood as a united front, weathering storms together with an unspoken promise to never falter. Her unwavering support fueled his ambitions, propelling him forward even when the odds seemed insurmountable. In her embrace, Ty found a sanctuary where acceptance knew no bounds, where he could be vulnerable without fear of judgment. Their bond was a testament to the power of a mother’s love, an unbreakable bond that transcended time and space, eternally etched in the depths of his soul.
His recent achievement of graduating from Fusion welding school where he obtained his welding certificate in 6G pipe welding and was accepted into the Boilermakers apprenticeship program, now serves as a bittersweet reminder of the potential contributions of life cut short, leaving behind a void that cannot be filled.
Among many things, Ty loved football, PlayStation, Dragon Ball Z, Family Guy, The Boondocks, Anime, and hanging out with friends.
