Tony James Pettis, 48, died at Wellstar Douglas Hospital in Douglasville, Georgia on Sunday, December 11, 2011. He was a native of Millington Tennessee, but grew up in Florida. He is the son of James H. and Sylvia Barron Pettis.
He is survived by his loving wife Cindy, daughter Shelby both of Douglasville, Georgia; two sons, Anthony and Michael Pettis, both of Melbourne, Florida; a brother; Jeffrey Pettis of Walkerville, Michigan; his mother, Sylvia Pettis of Summerville, Florida and a grandson; Skyler Pettis.
The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00 PM on Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at the Chapel at Forest Lawn Funeral Home with the Funeral Service beginning at 2:00 PM with the Pastor Don Vinning officiating. Entombment will be immediately following the service at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
