Terry A. Cole

Terry attended public school in Westtown, NY where he grew up as well as Minisink Valley Central School nearby. Shortly after he graduated he went into the U.S. Air Force for 3 years.

Terry married Linda Mills in 1966 in Westtown, NY and they had 2 children, Georgiana (born 1966) and Harvey Bert (born 1967). Terry and Linda divorced in 1972.

In 1976 Terry married Donna Cole in McDonough, NY. They lived in south FL until 1985 when they moved to the Marion Oaks subdivision in Ocala, FL. Terry and Donna had 2 children, Caleb Joshua (born 1986) and Jarrad Cody (born 1990). They divorced in 2008.

Terry was a furniture maker for several years then joined Donna in the newspaper publishing business and also started his own Lawn Care business with his son. Later he worked for Marion County Bus Transportation. He retired in 2008.

Terry was an avid fisherman and he enjoyed gardening and the outdoors.

Terry is survived by his sister, Geraldine (Donald) Moore of Norwich, NY; 1 daughter, Georgiana (Denny) Hughes; 3 sons: Harvey (Lorraine), Caleb, and Jarrad (Cassie) Cole; 7 grandchildren: Heather, Kristen, Alexis (NY), Cameron, Jordan, Layden and Dylan-(CA); 2 great-grandchildren: Lilli and JT (NY); 1 nephew, Jeff Moore (NY); 3 nieces: Tina Rice, Betsy Vreeland and Nettie Roberts (NY); and many cousins.

Terry is predeceased by his parents Harvey and Doris Cole.

Funeral arrangements were held on Sunday, Nov. 24, 2 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Ocala, FL with eulogy by Pastor Jess Burton.
