Mother daughter cruise. We had so much fun!!

I was introduced to Ben and Ruth for the first time when they asked John to invite Haven, Ivy and Myself to their home in Ocala Fl in 2006. When we arrived at their home , both came outside to greet all of us and hugged us has if they had known us our entire life. They made all three of us feel as if we were apart of their family. Ruth was just so kind to the three of us who for the first time felt we belonged to this  family. It was the first time Haven and Ivy had ever visited Florida and what a beautiful experience both Ruth and Ben gave all of us, a trip of a lifetime in so many ways and saw so many unique things that are still captured by photos. Ruth and Ben to me personally were as one and treated basically complete strangers like
Family they have known forever. I remember every night Ruth would kiss us goodnight before she went to bed . That was just Ruth. Love . She loved us unconditionally through the years no matter what happened through the years she knew me , she still loved us, no matter what  happened or the circumstances that happened.She was the example of true love and the world is less because The phone won’t ring , and Ruth won’t be on the other side wanting to talk to John , but last days she spent with Ben,John,Lloyd , Benny and Heather , well, she was very very happy . Heaven , now has a tiny beautiful Angel and her name is Ruth. She is just fine and still teaching us how to unconditionally,Love.

I worked with Ben many years ago at Bell Labs. I remember well the love and devotion you had for Ruth and your family.  I was so saddened to learn of Ruth’s passing.  Sending my deepest sympathy and prayers for your healing at this very difficult time.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to Ben and his family. I had the opportunity to work with Ben early in my career and had the additional pleasure of knowing Ruth for many years during the time she lived in NJ. Many memories of visiting each others homes to pursue our mutual interests in playing Double Deck Pinochle.

Ruth will be missed.
