Rose M Caligiuri

Ocala-Rose M. Caligiuri, 102, passed away on Thursday, July 31, 2014. She was born in Brooklyn, NY and moved to Ocala in 1974 from Cape Coral. Rose loved to do needlepoint and her crewl work was exceptional. She was an avid reader and loved animals. Rose was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Alex Caligiuri and her son Robert J. Caligiuri Sr. Rose is survived by her daughter, Laura Caligiuri, her daughter in law, Kathie Caligiuri, grandson, Robert Caligiuri Jr, and great-grandchildren, Ava and Aiden. A visitation will take place on Friday, August 8, 2014 from 6-8 pm at Forest Lawn Funeral Home 5740 S. Pine Ave Ocala, FL 34480. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church 5 SE 17th St Ocala, FL 34471 on Saturday, August 9, 2014 at 12 pm with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Ocala, FL Donations should be made to the Marion County Humane Society 701 NW 14th Rd, Ocala, FL 34475 humanesocietyofmarioncounty.com in her name.
