Robert “Bob” Fisher, Jr. , age 94, of Ocala died November 2, 2013 at Estelle’s Hospice House. He was born on August 23, 1919 in New York , NY a son to the late Robert and Minnie Fisher, Sr. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his beloved wife Gertrude and his brothers Howard and Stephen. He was a veteran and served in the US Army in WWII. He was remember for being a great athlete, enjoying golf and tennis and was an avid NY Yankees fan. His favorite vacation spot was Williamsburg, VA. Survivors include a niece Judy Armstrong in PA, three nephews Jeffrey (Paddy) Fisher in NY, Douglas (Myriam) Fisher in NY, David (Kellee) Fisher in IL, and several great nieces and nephews. A graveside service has been scheduled for Tuesday November 5, 2013 at 10:00am at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Salvation Army. Forest Lawn Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
