Worked with Bob at Spring House Tech and then for many years at the F.D. Bob was always a hard worked and a could always be counted on. 
Very glad he was able to enjoy a long retirement in Florida.

Sorry for your families loss. Lt. Bob Connelly was my first officer when I joined the Fire Department in 1978. He was always a pleasure to work with. May he rest in peace.

Robert was my first officer when I joined the Summit Fire Department.  He was a little intimidating at first. but when I found out he was dabbling in the stock market we had something else in common, besides working for the FD. We talked about different things; he guided me as a new rookie during my short time with him at the FD because he retired maybe 6 months after I started. 
I always enjoyed my time with him, he was one of the best, left a great impression on me. 
My thoughts and prayers are with the entire Connelly family
