On November 28, 2024, our loving husband and father, Phillip Anthony Sturgill, who was a local business owner of 23 years, passed away. Born October 18, 1955, in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. He was the son of Samuel and Louise Sturgill.
He is survived by his wife Marie and their son, Stephen Sturgill and his wife Veronica of Ocala, FL. And his daughter, Lisa Lohman and her husband Matthew of Ocklawaha, FL. Also, surviving are his four grandchildren including Zachary, Leigha, Kyle and Jake.
Phil was a kind and caring husband of 47 years, and father who was devoted to his family. He was always the first you could call on in time of need. He was mechanically inclined. He loved fishing with family and friends and was passionate about being outdoors. He loved boating, vacationing and relaxing in the water. He will be loved and missed by his family and friends.
A funeral and mass is scheduled at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church, Belleview, FL on Monday December 16th 2024 at 10:00 AM. A reception for family and friends will follow in the Church’s reception hall and interment will be at Forest Lawn Funeral Home and Memory Gardens in Ocala.
