Paul Duane Rasmussen of Cameron Villas died peacefully on January 3, 2017. He retired as a Naval Commander after 28 years of service in the US Navy. Paul is survived by his wife of 26 years, Linda Q. Rasmussen and his five sons and their spouses: Randy and Linda of Charleston, SC; Dan and Shelly of Ramsey, MN; Terry and Patti of Chicago, IL; Tim and Karen of Chaska, MN; Rick and Jennifer of Wasilla, AK and his daughter Denise and Mark of Nevis, MN. Paul is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
On Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at 11 o'clock there will be a celebration of Paul's life at the Hope Lutheran Church, 230 Avenida Los Angelos, The Villages, FL 32162. A reception will be held at the church immediately after the service. His burial will be at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hope Lutheran Church for the House of Hope Mission.
