Marvin Green went to be with the Lord on April10th 2025 and he will be greatly missed. Marvin is survived by his wife of 69 years Colleen (Sheffield) Green, his son Don Wayne Green, 2 grandchildren Daniel Green, Darren Green, and Sister Myra Knoblock. Marvin was preceded in death by his parents Dan Green, Amelia Green and a brother Maurice (Bubba) Green.
Marvin was a lifelong resident of Marion County where he retired from the Division of Florida Forestry Service after 40 years.
His favorite things to do were fishing and traveling. Marvin loved god and his family. His church family was very important to him.
He was loved and will be missed by all!
A gathering of family and friends for Marvin will be held Friday, April 18, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at First Assembly of God, 1827 NE 14th St, Ocala, FL 34470. A celebration of life will occur Friday, April 18, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM, 1827 NE 14th St, Ocala, FL 34470. A committal service will occur Friday, April 18, 2025 from 12:30 PM to 12:45 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home & Memory Gardens, 5740 S Pine Ave, Ocala, FL 34480.
