Maggie was born in Adrian, Michigan on December 23, 1934, to William and Edna Schaller (Rininger). She graduated from Adrian High School in 1953. She married Richard D. Carmean on December 31, 1954, who survives. She had a passion for her family, flowers, and she was an avid bird watcher.
In addition to her husband, Maggie is survived by her children, Vickie (Gary) Slagle and Todd (Mary) Carmean; grandchildren, Nathan (Heather), Matthew (Andrea), and Jake (ToniAnn) Slagle; step grandsons, Brent and Phillip Harris; great grandchildren, Natalie, Lacey, Landon, Brandon, Lauren, Riley, Connor, and Ethan Slagle; and step great grandsons, Kevin and Phillip Bayman.
Maggie is preceded in death by an infant son, Richard Carmean, Jr., and sister, Nora Losey.
A graveside service will be held at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens on Tuesday, March 14 at 10:00 am.
