Linda Ritten

Linda Ritten, 65, of Summerfield, Florida passed away on Sunday, April 21, 2013 peacefully at home surrounded by her family. She was born on October 10, 1947 in Leesburg, Florida to Francis Sylvester and Bessie “Mildred” (Baron) Smallwood. She was preceded in death by her father. Linda was a member of St. Theresa’s Catholic Church, where she sung in the choir. She enjoyed shopping, camping, and fishing. She was a great cook, but most of all she loved her grandchildren. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, in addition to her mother, her husband of 47 years, James Ritten, a daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Raul Irizarry of Peach Tree City, GA, a son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Wendy Ritten of Micanopy, a sister and brother-in-law, Bettye and Elmer Jones of Orange City, and four grandchildren, Trey, Sofia, Chase and Morgan. Memorial donations may be made to St. Theresa’s Soup kitchen, Marion County Habitat for Humanity, or Odyssey Hospice.
