“Don’t cry for me when I’m gone. For the only Thing that’s Changes is my address. I am now with my Lord.” Lewis D. Walker “Lew” was a long time resident of Marion County. He was born in Jacksonville, FL and went to live with the Lord on April 21, 2023. Lew was a huge Gator football fan and a large contributor to the school. His life was full of everything he simply wanted to do. Lew was an avid motorcycle rider, golfer, bowler, Navy corpsman and he loved his beautiful country. He is survived by his wife Margaret Walker of Summerfield, FL, brother; W.R. Walker of Atlanta, GA ;daughter, Stephanie Nettles of Ocala, FL; Son-in-Law Craig Nettles of Ocala, FL; Stepdaughter Sharon Zurick of Ocala, FL; Granddaughters: Danielle, Renee, Kelly and Morgan and eight Great-grandchildren: Jazmyn, Zoey, Scarlett ,Carter, Riley, Zackery, Lily and Peyton.
