Leslie “Les” Johnson, 91, of Reddick, passed away on August 9, 2022 peacefully in his home after terminal cancer diagnosis in April.
Les was a dedicated man not only to his family, but his friends. Always ready to lend a hand and always armed with a joke to make you laugh. He will be missed dearly by all who had the pleasure of knowing him as he was truly one of a kind.
Les was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Olinda Johnson along with his loving wife Virginia Johnson. He is survived by his children Les (Lisa) Johnson, Sandy Chittum, and Victor Johnson. He leaves behind 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
A memorial service for Les will be held at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 5740 South Pine Avenue, Ocala, FL 34480 on Saturday, August 20, 2022, with visitation at 11:00 a.m. followed by a service at 11:30 a.m.
In place of flowers a donation may be made to Hospice of Marion County.
