Belleview - Joseph Peter Chubon 95 passed away Friday January 30th 2015. Born September 25, 1919 in James City, PA and moved to Ocala in 1971 from Pittsburgh, PA. Joseph retired as General Manager of Imperial Fabrics/Ascot Enterprises in 1998. He was a US Navy WWII Veteran achieving rank of Chief Aviation Machinist Mate serving in the Pacific Theater. He liked to travel and followed all types of sports, especially football, he was an avid FSU fan. Joseph is survived by his wife of 46 years, Caroline (Kelly) Chubon, his children Carrie Caster (Jeff) and Ryan Chubon, grandchildren Jake and Abbey Caster, and Rylan Chubon along with many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at Forest Lawn Funeral Home 5740 S. Pine Ave, Ocala, FL on Wednesday February 4th 2015 at 11:30 a.m. with viewing starting at 10:30 a.m. Burial is to follow at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s research hospital at 800-805-5856 in his name.
