James E Robinson, 86, a resident of Ocala FL, passed away at home on August 30, 2015. He was a retired 20 year veteran of the US Air Force who had been stationed in Texas, Washington, Virginia, New York, Indiana and Japan among other places. Following his retirement, he worked with NASA training astronauts in the altitude chamber at Cape Canaveral, Florida. He was a member of the Free Will Baptist faith, an avid reader and enjoyed NASCAR racing.
Mr. Robinson’s wife of sixty years, Tilda Robinson, predeceased him.
He is survived by five sons, David (Vickie), Paul (Debbie), Rodney (Lillian), Larry (Karen) and Kirk (Tammy) Robinson; two daughters, Kay (Dennis) Warner and Lori Robinson; 19 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren.
