George B. Reynolds, Jr., age 86, of Belleview, Florida passed away on December 13, 2023 at the Cornerstone Hospice House-The Villages. He was born on October 2, 1937 in Brooklyn, New York to the late George and Mildred (Hartbeck) Reynolds, Sr.
George was an Aluminum Contractor for over 25+ years, building screen rooms, patios and other structures. He and his beloved wife, Kay moved from Kentucky to South Florida in 1959 and then later relocated from South Florida to the Belleview area after their daughter was born in 1974.
He was a member of Belleview Masonic Lodge No. 95 F & A M and the Shriners in Jacksonville. George enjoyed fishing and selling and tinkering with cars, however, spoiling his granddaughter, Kayla, was at the top of the list. George was affectionately called “Poppy” by her.
He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Mildred Reynolds, Sr. and his two brothers.
Survivors include his loving wife of 64 years, Kay Reynolds; daughter, Jennifer (Sean) Kopsho and granddaughter, Kayla Kopsho.
Family will receive friends from 10:30-11:30 am, Thursday, December 28, 2023 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 5740 South Pine Avenue, Ocala, FL 34480, with a Service to follow at 11:30 am. He will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Ocala, FL.
