Ellen Marie Steel, age 89, of Wesley Chapel, FL passed away at home on March 19, 2014. She was born in Fort Erie, Ontario, Canada on March 30, 1924. She was preceded in death by her parents George and Ellen Long and her husband Richard Webster Steel. Ellen answered the call for manufacturing workers during World War II and went to work at Fleet Aircraft building trainer planes, she was a genuine Rosie the Riveter. She was remembered for her talent as a painter and charcoal sketcher and for being a real people person. She leaves behind to cherish her memory a son Doug Steel who resides in Wesley Chapel, FL. Ellen will be laid to rest with her husband on Sunday March 23, 2014 at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Ocala Florida
