Donald “Don” Michaels, age 78, of Belleview Florida passed away on Saturday, August 1st 2020 at The Villages Hospital.
In his life, Don was a giving and loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was and is loved by all his family and will be forever missed.
Don is preceded in death by his parents, a sister, two sons-in-law, and one grandchild.
Don is survived by his wife of 42 years, Clara Michaels; four daughters, Teresa Armstrong, Dee Vaughn, Allie (Tom) Konrad, and Lee (Bob) Blankenship; a son, Brian Wood; 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandson. He is further survived by his sister, Kathy Shoul; his brother David Funk; one niece, and two cousins. He also leaves many friends to his memory.
A Memorial Service will be held at Forest Lawn Funeral Home (5740 S. Pine Ave, Ocala FL 34480), on Thursday, August 10th, 2020 starting at 12pm. Rev. Barry Dunlap of Ocala First Church of the Nazarene will be officiating. Burial will follow immediately after the service at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
