David B. Thompson

David Brian Thompson, 64, of Ocala, Florida, passed away on December 5, 2016 at West Marion Community Hospital. David was born in Ocala to James Osborne Thompson and Madeline Whitfield Thompson on January 4 1952. David married Donna Sloat on October 9, 1970 in Ocala, Florida. David was an avid sportsman who loved hunting, fishing and camping. He was a veteran and of the United States Army.

David was preceded in death by his parents, James Osbourne Thompson and Madeline Whitfield Thompson and his son, Brian David Thompson.

David is survived by his wife, Donna Thompson, sons, Michael and Robert Thompson; daughter, Michelle Thompson; daughters-in-law, Sheryll Thompson and Kathleen Thompson; five grandchildren, Bryan Thompson, Adam Thompson, Anthony Jones, Angela Jones and Madison Clark. David is also survived by his brothers, John and Donald and his sisters, Patsy and Laura.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Service at 11a.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Ocala, Florida 34480. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Ocala.
