Bertha A. Gonzalez, 79, of Easton, PA passed away on Monday, April 14, 2025 at the Gardens of Easton. Born on December 13, 1945 in Bogota, Colombia, she was the daughter of the late Gustavo Sanabria and Cecilia Celeita.
She was employed in the recycling field of IBM until she retired in May, 2006. Bertha was a member of St. Teresa Little Flower in Summerfield, FL. She was a very active lady who enjoyed a good round of tennis or pickleball. She was a wonderful cook and loved to spend time with her family.
Bertha is survived by her son, John Gonzalez and his wife, Wendi Lei of Brooklyn, NY; grandchildren, Estelle, Alaric; and step grandchildren, Robert and Leo.
In addition to her parents, Bertha was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Juan D. Gonzalez who passed on February 19, 2015.
Visitation will be held Saturday, April 19, 2025 from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 5740 South Pine Avenue, Ocala, FL 34480. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, April 21, 2025 at 10:00 am at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 11528 US-301, Belleview, FL 34420. Committal will follow Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
