Alice Walters Swiderski, 89, Ocala, Florida, passed away Thursday, November 20, 2014. Born and raised in Wisconsin, she moved to Ocala, Florida in 1967. She was married 59 years to the late Stanley Swiderski, the love of her life. Stan was a successful entrepreneur and Alice was his right hand, working alongside him in his many endeavors. She was a strong, faith-filled, fun loving lady who enjoyed life to the fullest. Alice loved playing cards (daily), spending time with family, dancing the polka (even on the morning of her death) & traveling. She was up for any adventure and was the perfect hostess. Alice was a loving mother to her seven children. She is survived by her daughters, Joyce Lemek (Ken), Ocala; Carol Blackstock (John), Ocala; Mary Carnes (Barry), Lake Mary; Ann Winfield (Gary), Denver; and son Richard Swiderski (Katy), Summerfield. Alice was blessed with 16 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. She is survived by two of her brothers Ernest (Evelyn) Walters and Leonard Walters, and sister-in-law, Edith Walters, and many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. Alice was pre-deceased by her sons David Swiderski & Stanley Swiderski, Jr., her parents, 4 sisters and 3 brothers. Alice was a devout Catholic and long-time member of Blessed Trinity Catholic Church. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 26, 2014 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Forest Lawn, Ocala, Florida and Friday, November 28th from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, Ocala, Florida. The funeral Mass will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made for the building fund of the St. Alice & St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Uganda, Africa.
