Alice Marie Cerone, 93, of Bronson, FL passed away Aug 31, 2016. She was World War II veteran who served in the US Navy. She was also an LPN, a professional entertainer, singer, and piano player and a woman of great faith. She loved the ocean and the beach and instilled that same love of water in her seven children. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, wrote poetry and was an avid reader, especially of the Holy Bible. She was a loving mother who taught her children her strong Christian values.
Alice was a member of the St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church in Ocala and the Bronson United Methodist Church in Bronson, FL. She was also a member of the VFW, the American Legion, and a Worthy Matron in the Eastern Star.
Widowed three times, she was predeceased by her husbands, John Montgomery, William Tompkins and Peter Cerone; her daughter, Carol Bonetti and two grandsons, Luke Corbitt and Brian Larkins.
She is survived by her children, John Montgomery, Donna Miller, Amy Corbitt, Linda Larkins, Norma Vitale and Marion Deckman and many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, Sep 6th from 4-4:30pm with funeral service at 4:30 pm at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Ocala FL.
