Mr. Samuel Hawkins III

A Public Visitation for Samuel will be held on Friday, May 3, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at CP Bannon Mortuary, 6800 International Blvd, Oakland, CA 94621. A Requiem Mass will be held at St. Louis Bertrand Parish, 1410 100th Ave on Saturday, May 4, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:15 AM. His final resting will be held at Rolling Hills Memorial Park located at 4100 Hilltop Drive, Richmond, CA 94803 following the mass and committal. A “Celebration of Samuel's Life” will be held at the Parliament Event Venue located at 811 Washington Street in the city of Oakland, California on Saturday May 4, 2024 at 1:00 PM.

Friend's of the family are encouraged to leave a message of condolence, upload a photo or light a virtual candle in memory of Mr. Samuel for his loved ones to cherish in the days to come.

A Fallen Limb

A limb has fallen from the family tree. I keep hearing a voice that says, “Grieve not for me.

Remember the best times, the laughter, the song.

The good life I lived while I was strong.

Continue my heritage,I’m counting on you.

Keep smiling and surely the sun will shine through.

My mind is at ease, my soul is at rest.

Remembering all, how I truly was blessed.

Continue traditions, no matter how small.

Go on with your life, don’t worry about falls.

I miss you all dearly, so keep up your chin.

Until the day comes we’re together again.”
