Robert Mathews Jr., age 80, of Oakland, California. On Sunday, June 25, 2023 the one we loved and knew stepped across the threshold that we call death, but it was only a step into another room and not a stepping out of the fellowship of life. It was but a step into one of the rooms of our Father's House.

Robert Mathews Jr. was born October 12, 1942 to the loving parents Florida Young and Robert Mathews Sr. in Louisiana.

Robert confessed Christ as his personal savior at an early age and was baptized. He attended Oakland Technical High School.

Robert was loved by so many and will be missed by all.
