Debra Lanette White

A visitation for Debra will be held Friday, April 12, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at C. P. Bannon Mortuary, 6800 International Blvd, Oakland, CA 94621. A funeral service will occur Saturday, April 13, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at C. P. Bannon Mortuary.

Debra Lanette White, as we affectionately know, was born to the proud parents of Jannie Lee White and Alfred Hatchett on June 9, 1955, in Gadsden, Alabama.

At the age of 9, Debra and her family moved to Oakland, CA, where she started elementary school at Markham Elementary and later continued her education at Frick Junior High. As a teenager, Debra attended Oakland High. Debra began her career as a Certified Nursing Assistant in 1975 until she retired in 2012.

Debra was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Not one day went by that Debra did not tell her family that she loved them.

Dedra leaves behind her Husband, Jaddias Franklin, 2 daughters: Monique Adanandus and Shavon Adams; grandchildren: Diondre, Shawnnicque, Travon, DeShawn, Jakalya, and Joshua; great-grandchildren: Nakiah, Kaylani, and Emoni; sisters and brothers: Patricia Leonard, Linda Howard, Darlene Leonard, Cynthia Alexander; Reginald Leonard and Jackie Billingsley; a host of nieces, nephews, God sons, God daughters and a host of other relatives and friends.
