Well Betty Boo, it was a joy to have you as my sister. It took a minute or two  to write/ share my memories because sometimes I felt as if it wasn't true that you had gone to your eternal place of rest.  Indeed you had a unique laugh because it was sincere and when you laughed it was like a lions roar, from deep within.            Most importantly, we loved each other and shared many precious memories together and if anyone hurt my feeling you were right there to talk about them and reassure me that 'they' were crazy.        I thank God that you were in my life as long as you were. Want to know a secret about Auntie Betty?

One day when she went to her car my Mom and I saw Auntie Betty give a random homeless person her cost.  Auntie Betty saw a need and acted on it.  

Then Auntie Betty held up a pair of leggings to the homeless person and gave those too.

When Auntie Betty came back inside she didn’t mention her act of generosity at all, nor did we.  It was a secret, until now.

Takeaway:  When you give to the poor, don’t let anyone know about it.  Then your gift will be given in secret. Your Father knows what is done in secret, and he will reward you.
