Johan (John) Scherer followed his wife Marian and his entire family, home to our father, on Dec. 07, 2023, he was 85 years old. John was born in Banat, Yugoslavia, He came to the U.S. in 1955 and lived in Southern California before retiring in Coarsegold, CA in 1997, with his wife Marian. John was never blessed with children but adopted his chosen family: His, "schwester", Christine Sturkey, his "brother", Charles Sturkey, Niece, Keyauna Delille, "grandchildren", Charles Biasillo, Gaetano Biasillo, Christian Harris, and Evangeline Huynh. John also leaves behind many friends and a life well lived. We will miss him.
John's funeral service is on January 18, 2024 at 12pm at Sierra Chapel in Oakhurst.
