Paul Carl Hauschild Jr.

Paul “Butch” Hauschild, formerly of Elmhurst, Illinois age 66 passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2023. Beloved father to Wesley Roberts, Jessica Hauschild, Paul Hauschild, and Cassie Hauschild; proud grandfather to Jordan Jones, Jaxton Jones, Noah Turner, Emily Roberts, and Maggie Roberts; cherished brother to Paulette Lundin, Don Hauschild, Thea Petersen, and Dodie Seyssens; lifelong friend and partner to Sandra Schauer; loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Paul Hauschild and Rita (nee Price) Hauschild; his younger brother Eric Hauschild, his wife Heidi Hauschild, and many dear friends.

Butch took pride in his experience with harness horse racing, owning more than 150 race horses throughout his career. He was a sports and motorcycle enthusiast; throughout his life he worked in sales, restaurants, and bars, being a partner and manager of Galway Bar and Grill for 30 years.

Friends and family will gather for a memorial service for Paul that will be held Thursday, March 30, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Chapel Hill Gardens West Funeral Home, 17w201 Roosevelt Road, Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois 60181.
