March 7, 2022. She was born July 19, 1927 in Marion, Ohio to
Ruth Esther and Russell Jay Barkalow. Her sister Mary Lou
Latimore (Richard) preceded her in death. Patricia had two
great loves of her life. Married at the age of nineteen to Robert
Francis Cochran, they had three daughters who survive her;
Carolyn Jenkins (Ted), Beverly Krolack (Chris) and Sharon
Groah (Michael). Patricia and Robert, with their three girls,
moved to Glen Ellyn, Illinois in 1967 where Patricia worked for
many years as a secretary for the Glenbard School District.
After Robert’s death, Patricia found love again with Charles
Hogan and was married for many years prior to his death. She
loved music, playing bridge, and most of all just being with her
family. Patricia loved her family fiercely and will be greatly
missed by her many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces,
nephews, and stepdaughter Jean Bragg (Jeff). A celebration of
life will be held later this Spring.
