Dorothy L. McCarthy, nee Swentowsky, age 81,:passed away on April 7, 2011. She was born on February 12, 1930 in Carnegie, PA. Dorothy was a valued employee of McCarthy Eye Center for 51 years. She was the beloved wife of James for 59 years; loving mother of David, Linda, Douglas (Elaine) and Timothy (Maureen); cherished grandmother of Heather, Michael, Samuel, Cassandra, Zoie, Lowell, Nina and Katie; patient caregiver of "Monster" and "PingPong"; dear sister of Harold and Joey Swentowsky. She was a great lady who will be missed by all who knew her. Visitation Friday 3-9 pm. Funeral Saturday 11 am at Chapel Hill Gardens West Funeral Home, 17W201 Roosevelt Rd.
