Bernie,  I am glad I got to talk to her a couple weeks ago. She told  me that she was enjoying the honeymoon with you. I'll have a mass said for her at ST. Bruno Church in the near future.  You and your family are in my prayers. May the angels lead her into Paradise, may she have eternal rest.

Many wonderful memories with Mrs. Cicora growing up.  She was always a loving and generous lady.  She was a class act and lit up every room she walked into with her smile and fashion sense.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to her family and children.  She was always so proud of her girls. Please keep all of your wonderful memories close to your heart.

Kristin and I are good friends, and I practically grew up in the Cicora home because I was around so much in grade school, high school and college. Mrs. Cicora was at my wedding , baby shower, and we still had mother daughter lunches and also got together at Lago Vista a few times. I always loved seeing her and she was always good to me. I really admired her as a proud hostess and a talented interior designer. She was original and appreciated quality. At the same time she had a strong practical side, so it was fun when you got her laughing. And Sheryl's laugh kinda reminds me of hers.     

I am grateful that she was part of my life. Thank you Mrs. Cicora. God bless and rest in peace.   

My memories are special because I got to spend time painting with Diane. For more than 15 years our painting time was often once a week in one of my painting classes at the Fine Line Creative Arts Center or The Dupage Art League and then as colleagues in the Yellow House Artists painting group. She created a beautiful body of work.  She will always hold happy, joyful and pleasant memories that she contributed to making painting a worthwhile thing to do. 

I just loved the way Diane found ways to share her creativity.  I remember how hard Diane worked on this painting and how we both agreed the painting became so much better than the photo.  Such satisfaction and she so enjoyed doing this painting for her niece. 💕

I’ll never forget when Diane made this painting. She and I referred to it often. She was learning the importance of creating an underpainting in her paintings and decided to use bright red for the first layers and it wasn’t but a few minutes that she ignighted the class to urge her to leave the painting alone and call it done! So she did! We all loved it just the way it was. 💕😉👍

Well this is powerfull!  Done in Oil pastel by Diane. I think she needed something in her kitchen.  One of several large bird images she created.  It made me and Diane Smile. 😊😉
