Vincent Angelo Zerante

Son of the late Rose (nee Nardella) and James Zerante, he was born on July 4, 1952.

Vincent graduated from St. Agnes Elementary School before entering Marian Catholic High School. After graduating, he furthered his education by obtaining a Master’s degree in Biology and Math through Loras College.

Vincent ultimately dedicated 45 years of his life to teaching science at Marion Catholic High School.

He spent much time as a member at Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church.

In addition to his Parents, Vincent was preceded in death by his Brother, David Zerante.

Beloved Husband of 43 years, he leaves behind his cherished Wife, Catherine (nee Hyland); Child, Elizabeth (Bettina); Sisters, Marianne (Robert) Smith and Patricia (James) Hughes; Sister-in-Law, Karen (nee Schnorenberg); Nieces & Nephews, Ben Zerante (Matt Esler), Andrew Zerante (Renee), Emily Reznek (Kevin), Nora Zerante, Paula (Matt) Denton, and Patrick Smith; Great Niece, Isabella Resnek; and many other loving Family & Friends.

A visitation for Vincent will be held Thursday, November 17, 2022 from 3 pm to 8 pm at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 West 103rd Street, Oak Lawn, IL 60453.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place Friday, November 18, 2022, 10:30 am at Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church (9525 S Lawndale Ave Evergreen Park, IL 60805).

Interment is private at this time.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Vincent's memory may be made to Marian Catholic High School Sister Simeon Fund (700 Ashland Avenue, Chicago Heights, Illinois 60411).
