After a long and full life, our dear father, Timothy V Mulvey, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, September 3, 2022, he was 96 years old. Tim was a native of Louisburgh, County Mayo, Ireland; and resided on the Southside of Chicago since 1948. He was a CTA bus driver for 40 years, a lifetime member of A.T.U. Local 241, and a member of the Mayo and Kerry Association. He was well-loved and had many friends in the Gaelic Park community, and will be missed at the Ceile dances. He enjoyed his daily crossword puzzles, followed his favorite Sports teams, and was gifted in serving others – especially the bereaved.
Tim was a devoted husband to the late Patricia J Mulvey, née Carmody. Loving Father of Timothy G. (the late Claire), John P. (Cathy) and Thomas M. (Marjorie); cherished grandfather of Carrie, Andrea and Jennifer; beloved brother of the late Johnny, Mick, the late Paddy, the late Tommy Joe, Mary Ball, the late Larry, and the late Anna Fitzmaurice; dear brother-in-law and fond uncle to many. Visitation is Sunday, September 11, 3:00-8:00pm at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 W 103rd St., Oak Lawn.
Funeral is Monday, September 12, 9:15am from Blake-Lamb Funeral Home to St John Fisher Church, Chicago. Mass at 10:00am. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Alsip.
