Thomas Mirabella was preceded in death by his grandmother Angeline Nugent, Aunt Marie & Uncle Joe Olsen, Aunt Charlene Johnson, Uncle Bobby Johnson, Uncle Clement “Joe” Robles, Uncle William Purciarello, Thomas J. Mirabella Sr, Jackie Fettig, Anthony Calzaretta, Michael Calzaretta.
Thomas worked as Local Two Elevator Mechanic for many years, before retiring due to his declining health. He loved spending time with his service dog Romeo and watching the Chicago White Sox. Thomas can be remembered for his profound sense of humor, and his way with stories that could take over a room.
Thomas was well known for his strong union beliefs and representing Local 2 in other states.
Thomas was not only a loving son, but he was also a devoted brother, and a respected role model to his nephews. There is nothing Thomas would not do for his family. Thomas had an abundance amount of love and dedication to every friendship that crossed his path, praying for the best for every one of them no matter the circumstances. Thomas touched so many lives and will truly be missed.
Friends and family will gather for a memorial visitation for Thomas that will be held Friday, August 11th, 2023, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 West 103rd Street, Oak Lawn, Illinois 60453. Services will be livestreamed from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Interment Private.
