Sergio Vazquez, age 71, of Burbank, Illinois passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2023. Beloved Husband of Mercedes C. Vazquez. Father of Manuel Vazquez, Alejandra (Carlos) Ruiz, Vanessa (Cesar) Jauregui, and Sergio Vazquez Jr. Grandfather of Manuel Jr, Galileo, Abigail, Lilica, Carlos Jr., Aidan, Julian and Elias.

Sergio was the life of the party. He was a hardworking family man who loved to watch soccer, play soccer, grill for family and friends, and eating. He was an outspoken gentle giant. Sergio will be greatly missed. Please join us in celebrating his life and how much he was truly loved in this world.

Friends and family will gather for a visitation for Sergio that will be held Wednesday, May 17th, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 West 103rd Street, Oak Lawn, Illinois, 60453. A Funeral service will take place Thursday, May 18th, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 4727 West 103rd Street, Oak Lawn, Illinois, 60453. A Prayer service will follow at 11:00 AM. A procession to Graveside service will occur Thursday, May 18th at Resurrection Cemetery, 7201 Archer Road, Justice, Illinois 60458.
