2 years later Bakes and we're still talking about you all the time. I was with Freddy and Sonny down in Phoenix 2 weeks ago and we were talking about Baker stories. There are so many! I hope you saw us laughing it up one night, over some beers and going through hundreds of old pictures I have. You'll always be part of our lives and memories bro, we miss you! RIP Baker, you left an impression on our hearts forever, that's for sure.

A year later bro and we miss you. There isn't a time when Freddy and I are hanging out together and we say something like "Man that reminds me of Baker!" Heard your jam yesterday bro, it was you playing it for me down from up above, "Come on Closer" by Pineapples. Miss you bro, from us riding our Big Wheels at 8 years old on Keeler, till the last time I sat with you in your living room bro, feeling helpless. Rest in peace my brother, we truly miss you.

It took me so long to write this because it makes the sad news true.  You and I were great friends and you can hear our loud laughter everywhere when we were together…even though I hadn’t seen you in a long while I know we were always friends. Last time I actually saw you was with your daughter and you were telling me how right I was about the explosion of love you would feel for your child, you said PEDROZzzzzA, you were right! Of course I hated when people called me that instead of PedrAza and yes you made it my nickname forever! You had the best attitude towards everything always! I can’t believe this still….but I know you are in a better place than all of us and I will see you again amigo! We can continue laughing as loud as ever! Condolences to the entire family, I knew Ruben from the little village area as a teenager. Always a nice guy,  I’m sure it followed him to adulthood. Rest In Peace my brother. Prayers for the family.  Thank you

Oh my “lil  Rubeno”. You were a firecracker; that’s the best way I can describe you. You always walked so fast…like you just had to get to the next place so quickly. Your kindness n loyalty to those you loved will never be forgotten. Nor will you. Those of us that were privileged enough to have loved you will never be the same.

Rest In Power Brother

Anyone that knew Ruben knows that he was always there for people. Always there to get you out of the funk and brighten up your day with a laugh. You have been an amazing friend and brought much love into my life. 
Friendship transcends death. Memories made will never be forgotten and created a lasting impression on those of us left behind. Everyone became a better person for having such a wonderful friend.
Saying goodbye isn't for us. Instead, I will say that I look forward to seeing my friend again, each time I am reminded of Ruben through a phrase, a joke, even an article of clothing. These are the things that will keep us close despite death. Rest in peace and power brother...

Knowing Ruben since i was 17 you knew his personality was different. His level of enthusiasm was something that you could never match but it was easy to feed off of. One of his patented moves was to grab you by the arm anytime something was hilarious or eye catching and he would say Hyyyme(Hiiii-im) did you hear or see that?  My late teens and early twenties had some great memories thanks to him. Even though I got married and didn't see him as much as time passed I knew from my brother and close friends that he was still being himself uplifting events and gatherings.  Between me and you Rube, thank you for sharing your Saturn thank you inviting me to your gatherings and thank you for sharing Chris Rock jokes throughout the years. I know  plenty of Ruben's but there was only one Rube!!  

A great fun person. Always in a great mood and great sense of humor.  He will be missed

I have so many fond memories of the great times we all used to have. Thank you for being a part of those wonderful memories.  You had a great sense of humor and you were always upfront and honest but always in a kind manner. What I loved most about you was how you were such a good listener and how you were always interested in what people had to say. Your smile and laughter was infectious. Good friends are easy to find, great friends don’t come easy. I just hope you know how much you are loved and how much you mean to me and Rick. He was so happy last year because he was able to reconnect with you. I remember when he called me and put you on the phone. It was so wonderful to hear your voice and laughter. Thank you Ruben for being who you are: a great friend, a good listener and a beautiful soul! I can’t believe that you’re gone but may you rest in heaven my friend. My deepest and most sincerest condolences to the Flores family. Another beautiful soul gone too soon. You are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Despite the years we always remained in touch in some shape, form or fashion. I'll never forget you Bakes, you are a big part of my childhood memories. As adults we had some great times! (my wedding) Your infectious laugh or hearing you say "Carrrrrlos!" every time I saw you, I'm going to miss you bro, I really am.  I hate that this happened to you.
