Rita Sue Turner, age 73, resident of Hometown for 65 years, passed away on Friday, August 26, 2022. Rita was born July 11, 1949.
Rita joins her Memo, and parents Otto and Lois Joritz in heaven. She will be lovingly remembered by her dear cousins and extended family. She loved spending her time with family, friends, her fur babies Dakota and Gracie; she was a proud honorary Memo to Robert and Norah.
In her free time Rita enjoyed playing and coaching softball, rescuing animals, photography and all forms of art and music. She will be deeply missed by all that knew her.
A visitation for Rita will be held Tuesday, August 30, 2022 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 W. 103rd Street, Oak Lawn, IL. During the visitation a memorial prayer service will begin at 6:30 PM.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Paws of Chicago in honor of Rita.
