Ric Shunk, age 51, of Matteson, Illinois passed away on Saturday, November 13, 2021. Ric was born April 7, 1970 in Blue Island, IL to Nancy (Michael) Williams and Richard (Carol) Shunk. Ric was the loving father of Bailey, Zachary, and Miranda Shunk; dear brother of Sandy (Scott) Basak and Nate (Melissa) DeRosa; caring uncle of Tabitha Basak, Annabella DeRosa, and Sonny DeRosa; cherished special friend of Johnny Vink; adored close friend of Pete Weckler, Michelle Frago, and Jackie Wallace.
A visitation for Ric will be held Wednesday, November 17, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Chapel Hill Gardens South Funeral Home, 11333 South Central Ave, Oak Lawn, IL 60453.
