I am reaching out to anyone here that can give me a little family history. Patricia would have been my 2nd cousin. My grandpa James who passed away before I was born is the brother of Anne Corrigan whom is the mother of Patricia. My mother Mary is really wanting to know more about her family and any stories or information would be wonderful. To my cousin that I never had the chance to met you sounded like a wonderful and loving woman may you rest with the angels.

I remember when I was 6 yrs. old, we had just recently moved to 6222 S. Mulligan, across from Hale Park. I was outside playing with my new friends. My Gram opened the screen from her 2nd floor to stick her head outside of the window to yell to me, "Michele, Why are you the ONLY child I hear?? How Come you're SO Much Louder than Everyone Else??" Well, this soon to be 1st grader put both hands on her hips, took a stance with one foot in front of the other, and without hesitation, looked up at her Grandmother and Claimed, "Because I'm just like YOU Gram!!!" She immediately burst into laughter, and then without hesitation, Claimed I was Right!! She then Told Me NOT To Ever Change!! Not for Anyone or Anything!!! Now Go Back and Play.
 
Any person who had ever met my Grandmother - never forgot her. Even people only meeting her once, for only a few minutes - Never forgot her. For those of us who had the Pleasure of knowing her - Where Do I Begin?!?!
 
There is no one, in the Whole Wide World - Comparable to the Infamous - Patricia Corrigan Loughran Kelly -
 
She was Always Ahead of her Time & Hip to the Scene - No matter what year it was. The energy and spunk she always had. Always, Always, Always Full of Life, Laughter, and Wanting To Dance. She Would FOREVER Say "When You Stop Laughing Is When You Stop Living." Any party would be a Fun Hit if Patsy was on the Guest List.
 
And Wardrobe... She would Always Dress to the 9's... She was the first one to be wearing what most of us only saw in magazines. Perhaps it was ALL the trips to Las Vegas!?! With which each trip to Las Vegas meant my sister Kelly & I getting stacks of boxes, taller than us with Matching Outfits and Cool Accessories. Sean being the Best Dressed Boy on the Block, and My Parents getting another clear penny filled toilet seat for the basement!
 
SO Strong, SO Independent, SO Hardworking, SO driven and Responsible, for she and her only child, her beloved son Bobby. Who again, was a woman way before her time. Single Parented and Raised her Boy Robert, My Daddy, on Her Own, along with the Help of Her Family. SO Proud and Justifiably So!!! Family IS Everything.  There is nothing in the world, comparable To FAMILY!!!
 
This is Only One thing I have learned from My Gram. The Importance of Family.... She would Boast and Be Eternally Grateful, ALWAYS Bragging about Her Family. Grandpa O'Toole, Annie Corrigan, and her sister AND best friend, Rita. She would say that THIS is Where She Found Her Strength and Her Laughter.
 
So many funny stories she would always share with us. So many funny, happy stories she and her sister, Rita, would share with her family, My Cousins, The O'Malley's. Too many funny stories to Count, amongst the 3 Musketeers; Patsy, Eiley, and Mary... The Beyond funny stories she would share with her Grandchildren, my Brother Sean, my Sister Kelly & I, and then years later, Also my Sister Jessie. Family Is EVERYTHING!!!
 
I gave my Gram the name GG when she became a Great Grandmother for the 1st time, when My Justine was born. And boy, did she run away with this. Always Signing Everything Love GG, Everything GG!!  We Sometimes had to remind her this stood for Great Grandmother and NOT GG Lolabrigida. And How Blessed GG Is... With ALL of her Gorgeous, Handsome, Intelligent, Talented and Beyond Beautiful Great Grandchildren.  I Know with All My Heart & Soul that GG's Love, Strength, and Stories will Continue On with Each and Every One of Us.
 
Justine, Thomas, Kassandra, Kaitlyn, Kylie, Fionn, Lillian, Lucas and Laney - How Much GG Loved Each of You!! How Beyond Words to Describe - How Very Proud She Is of Each and Every One of You!!! And then Close to a Year Ago, GG Became the Triple "G", with the Birth of My Simply Scrumptious GranDaughter, BrookLynn!!!
 
One other Important Thing my Gram taught Me About is Heritage. How Proud We Should Be To Be Irish!!! This learned from the FIRST St. Patrick's Day Parade Queen. Which Every Family Member is Well Aware Of. There is No one in the World More Proud to Be Irish than Patsy!!! And Again - There is Nothing like Family!!!
 
Whether You All Know This or Not, she's Here right Now. She Is Within Each One of Us.  Especially At the Times When We NEED HER THE MOST! And with this being said, is how I am Able to say Good-Bye to MY BEST FRIEND.  My Rock, My Love, My Biggest Fan, My Strength, My Knowledge. MY BUTTERFLY..... My GORGEOUS GRANDMOTHER......

DEAR MOM:   YOU SURE WEREN'T KIDDING ABOUT MAKING ALL OF THE ARRANGEMENTS!  FROM PICKING OUT THE FUNERAL HOME ALL THE WAY DOWN TO MAKING THE ARRANGEMENTS FOR THE LUNCHEON.  I STILL CAN'T FIGURE OUT HOW YOU PLANNED ON PASSING AWAY ON THE 4TH OF JULY AND WENT OUT WITH A BANG AND HAVING YOUR FINAL GOOD-BYE ON YOUR BIRTHDAY!  YOU WERE JUST AMAZING BUT THEN AGAIN, I KNEW THAT ALL MY LIFE!  I WANT YOU TO KNOW THAT YOU WERE A WONDERFUL MOTHER.  YOU GAVE ME LIFE AND HELP ME MAKE THE MOST OF IT BY GIVING ME THE CONFIDENCE TO BE MYSELF.  YOU CHEERED ME ON WHEN I SUCCEEDED, AND YOU STOOD BY ME WHEN T MESSED UP. THROUGH GOOD TIMES AND HARD TIMES, YOU WERE MY SHINING EXAMPLE.  YOU GAVE ME CARING AND UNDERSTANDING.  YOU GAVE ME UNCONDITIONAL LOVE MY WHOLE LIFE.  YOU'VE GIVEN ME ALL OF THESE THINGS, BUT HAVING YOU FOR A MOM IS THE GREATEST GIFT OF ALL.  LOOKING BACK THROUGH ALL OF THE YEARS AND HUNDREDS OF CARDS AND LETTERS THAT I HAVE SENT YOU, I MENTIONED SO MANY TIMES THAT I NEVER MISSED NOT HAVING A DAD IN MY LIFE AS I GREW UP.  YOU MORE THEN COMPENSATED FOR THAT SHORT COMING BY ALWAYS MAKING SURE YOUR "LITTLE BOBBY" MISSED  NOTHING!  BETWEEN YOU AND GRAMMA CORRIGAN, I COULD HAVE NOT BEEN LOVED ANYMORE THAN I WAS BY THE BOTH OF YOU!  YOU TAUGHT ME HOW TO HELP PEOPLE AND CARE, TO BECOME INVOLVED IN THINGS THAT WERE IMPORTANT, TO TREAT PEOPLE THE WAY THAT YOU WANT TO BE TREATED, TO BE FAIR AND HONEST, TO TRY YOUR HARDEST IN EVERYTHING YOU DO AND HAVE A GOOD WORK ETHICS. I HAVE REALIZED MY WHOLE LIFE THAT I WAS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IN YOUR LIFE AND I WILL NEVER FORGET!  A LONG TIME AGO, I REMEMBER GRAMMA CORRIGAN SAYING,"YOU KNOW WHEN SOMEONE PASSES AWAY AND AS SOON AS YOU THINK ABOUT THEM, A SMILE COMES TO YOUR FACE, THERE IS NO BETTER TRIBUTE"!  RIGHT NOW IT'S A LITTLE HARD TO SMILE BECAUSE I JUST LOST YOU, BUT I KNOW THE SMILES WILL BE COMING.  NOW DO ME A FAVOR MOM, TAKE A STEP FORWARD, NOW TAKE A STEP BACK AND THEN FORWARD, LOOK, NOW YOUR DANCING AGAIN!  GOD KNOWS YOU HAVE ENOUGH PARTNERS TO CHOOSE FROM WITH HAVING GRAMMA CORRIGAN (WITH BOTH LEGS), YOUR SISTER RITA AND UNCLE JOHN TO DANCE WITH UP IN HEAVEN. I'm Theresa Carney Gilhooly's daughter Terry, my Mom and Pat we're very close friends,she was such a fun person to be around. I have so many fond memory's of her thru the years. My condolences Bob to you and your family.

Just one of the funniest memories of Pat was when I first met her.  Joe and I were on our honeymoon and she invited us up to Michigan for the week.  She sold the idea to me because she said that we would have the "HONEYMOON SUITE".  Some honeymoon sweet---back porch with a crib in it for two year old baby "BRACKIN".  Would not change that week for anything---so many laughs and great memories.  Thank You Pat!!!

What a wonderful woman and a great Party person.   So many good times with the O'Malleys, Brackins and Pat.  Deepest sympathies to the whole family.

Best Wishes to Patsy's Family !  I remember lots of laughs at the O'Malley gatherings !  Slainte !

I do not even know where to begin.  When I received the news that Pat had passed away my heart just broke.  She has always been a HUGE part of our family.  Her and my grandma Eily were like twins.  After Eily passed away just seeing Pat would make me and my family all feel better because there was always a piece of Eily with her and she would always tell us so many funny stories about the both of them.  I know that Pat and Eily and my grandpa Bill and Chester are all having a celebration up in heaven that they are all now together.  Pat is the reason my parents met each other so without her I would not even be here.  She will always hold a place in my heart.  Love you Pat

A Great Lady, full of life with a great sense of humor.  A great many will miss Patsy.  Our deepest condolences to all of her family.

Mrs. Loughran, as we knew her,  was so much fun!  She was always an up person, and ready for a good time!  She made the best of everything. She adored her son, Bob, and his family. We always enjoyed her company, and will miss her welcoming, warm, and free spirit!  She will light up Heaven!
