Nicholas James Vanek

Beloved husband to Samantha (nee Gardner) Vanek; Loving father to Everly and Callista; Devoted son to James and Pamela (nee Walsh) Vanek; Dear brother to Joseph (Bre) Vanek and Christopher Vanek; Fond uncle to Collins and Piper.

Nick was a devoted father and enjoyed sharing his love for animals and nature with his daughters. Many other family members, extended family, and friends will cherish Nick’s memory.

Friends and family will gather for a visitation for Nicholas that will be held on Friday, October 27th from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 West 103rd Street, Oak Lawn, Illinois. On Saturday, October 28th Nick's family and friends will gather from 9:00am until the time of chapel service at 12:00pm at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home. Interment will immediately follow at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery & Mausoleum, 6001 West 111th Street, Alsip, Illinois 60803.
