Mary Jo O'Brien

Mary Jo O'Brien (nee O'Neill), age 88, passed away on Wednesday, August 11, 2021. Mary was born October 10, 1932. Beloved wife of the late Patrick J. O'Brien; Loving mother of Sally Bolton of East Dubuque, IL, Janet (Dave) Blythe of Buffalo, MN, Mary (Cecil) Lumley of Lynwood, IL and Lori (Serge) Bourdon of Chicago, IL; Cherished grandmother of Kelly (Korey) Klatt, Michael Blythe, Jennifer (Patrick) Soraghan, Jonathan (Jacqui) Lumley, and Christian Bourdon; Loving Great-grandmother of Lucy, Reily, Brady, Jack, Macy, Tyler, and Tony; Dear sister of the late Barbara Eckstrom and the late Joseph O'Neill; Fond aunt to many nieces and nephews. Mary Jo was retired from the Secretary of State in Illinois. She will be dearly missed by those who love her.

A visitation for Mary will be held Friday, August 13, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 West 103rd Street, Oak Lawn, IL 60453. A Chapel Funeral Service will occur Friday, August 13, 2021 at 12:00 PM, immediately following the visitation. Interment Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery, 6001 W. 111th Street, Alsip, IL 60805.
