Marilyn A. Bauer

Marilyn A. Bauer passed away January 27, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Fred Bauer and married for 55 years. Mother of Barbara Jennings (Tom), Susan Mayer (Al) and Jim Bauer (Julie). Grandmother of Amanda Voyt (Jon), Michelle Rolon (Ian) and Matthew Jennings. Great-grandma of Liliana Grace Rolon. Loving sister of Dorothy Hicks (Buddy). Marilyn was employed at the Tuthill Corporation in Alsip for many years. She was a long-time resident of Alsip for 65 years as well as an avid library user and a faithful Cubs fan!

Visitation will be Sunday, January 31, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. until time of Chapel Service at 4:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Gardens South Funeral Home, 11333 S. Central Ave., Oak Lawn, IL 60453. Interment private at Chapel Hill Gardens South Cemetery.

In consideration of the safety of our guests and associates, Chapel Hill Gardens South Funeral Home will adhere to the current COVID restrictions in the state of Illinois, which allow 25 or fewer guests at a visitation and services. Proper social distancing must be practiced and all guests will be required to wear face masks at all times. No food will be allowed at the funeral home.
