Dearest family of my sweet friend,Marie.... I wanted to wish you my deepest and heartfelt condolences. Marie was a gem . She was the one that made the final decision about my hiring at OSA . I would enjoy seeing her beautiful smile ( sometimes a scowl -during payroll) every morning.  All she required of me to be hired was a recipe for Pico de Gallo. I remember she looked at it and said “ What! You don’t add lemon? “ as I handed her the paper and replied,” No, Texicans use limes.” She got a real kick out of that and said she’d be making it like a true Tex-mex then. Her sense of humor was my delight daily.  She will be truly missed by all .  May God keep your family in His loving arms and bring you peace. 

We were so saddened to hear about Mrs. Stevo’s passing. Our heartfelt condolences go out to Mr. Stevo, Chris, Sandra, Katie and Olivia. Mrs. Stevo is in our memories and prayers, and we send our love and deepest sympathies to the whole Stevo family.

I had a lengthy conversation with Aunt Marie on Cookies wedding day.  I was distraught about a personal problem and I confided in her. She was a good listener and she also urged me not to fret over my issue. She was so very empathetic that it left a memorable impression in my mind that has lasted all these years.   RIP sweet Aunt Marie.

Dear Brother John, Christopher,Sandra, Katie, and Olivia, 
How sad this time is for us.  She was our best friend and we loved her dearly.  I will never forget the great times we had in Vegas. 
The stories of Katie and Olivia and how much she loved them.
Leave it to her to be in heaven for Jesus'S Birthday, I could hear her singing the whole day.
She was loved by many and will be missed. But there is a special place in my heart for her.

I began working at Owen Scholastic Academy in 2002 as the First Grade Teacher and that is when I met your beautiful and loving wife. She kept us all in shape😀. She was very stern but very caring.  When she retired , she made sure Owen was well taken care of by training and preparing Cindie to replace her.  I remember her frequent conversations about you, her son, daughter-n-law, and grandchildren. May God comfort each of you and may her sweet memories live in your hearts.

John,
Ken Boor, my friend and neighbor, made me aware of your tragic loss and I wanted to extend to you my deepest sympathy and condolence on the loss of your wife.  I am a member of DAV chapter 84 in Oak Lawn and you have been most helpful in assisting me with my VA benefits. Ken shared with me some of the difficult times you have had in caring for your wife and I pray that your fond memories of her will comfort you, now and in the future.  We are currently out of town but you and your whole family are in our thoughts and prayers during this most difficult time. May God comfort you and your family and embrace your wife into His eternal love, glory and fulfillment!

Speaking on behalf of the Choo family, Marie was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and friend.  We were blessed to have her in our family.  She so loved Chris, Sandra, Katie & Olivia.
