Henry Nykaza, first cousin.

remember building a bedroom in our attic with the help and guidance of Frank Krol. Good to have Lorraine as a cousin.

May the memories that mean the most to you live forever in your heart.  I remember your mom fondly, we shared laughs and advise about "kids" in St. Germaine's parking lot while waiting for our girls. With the sympathy and understanding that words can't express.

It is with the heaviest of hearts and regret that I am unable to attend the wake / funeral of Aunt Lori. Work commitments will not allow. Aunt Lori was the greatest of ladies always sweet, kind and caring to all of us. Her passing saddens me more than I could express. My heart goes out to Linda, Ricky, Mike, Gary, Paul, Tom and their family's with the loss of their mom and grandmother.

Lorraine and I always had fun laughing and sharing stories of our "kids".  I will miss her.....Susanne Mittelstadt

 Lorraine was my adopted "Chicago" mom, someone I could laugh with and share funny stories with at all the Barfield parties!   I will miss our "fully leaded" cups of coffee!  I will see what I can do to corrupt Lynda into giving up her tea for the good stuff!  Rest peacefully in the arms of Jesus and your beloved husband!  Teresa

Mrs. Krol was my second Mother and I will never forget her and her kindness. She always kept us upbeat and was always positive, even when her husband Frank taught her how to drive stick shift. Frank - "Push in the pedal first."
Lorraine - "Which pedal and with which foot"  Frank - "Forget it, you don't want to learn". She had a great point and finally learned. 
When I visited from out of town she was constantly talking up the kids and grandkids and offered me parenting advice regarding choosing my battles.
